Lively Summer Week-Long Impassioned Chess Camps with Prizes

and Final Tournament with excellent instructors from UC Berkeley. 

2nd, 3rd, 4th Week of July M-F 9am to 3pm -- $500 

Separate six-week Saturday morning class from 9am to 12pm 6/22- 7/27. $500 

Classes and the camp meet in a beautiful spacious well-ventilated and light-filled community hall, 

Arlington Community Church, 52 Arlington Ave., Kensington (across from the Kensington Library)

Participants learn foremost to love the game, a love of which is conveyed by genuine chess enthusiasts, so as to carry that love of chess through life. 

Extremely carefully designed curriculum to orient young people in the etiquette and sportsmanship of Tournament Chess along with most immediate and pertinent skills.
