Summer French classes in France for 17 year old?

Our daughter is interested in improving her French this summer. We've found a bunch of language schools that do French and surfing lessons in Biarritz. Does anyone have experience with any of these programs? Is there any real cultural immersion? Is the language training good? If not Biarritz, experiences with other summer schools in France welcome!
