Soccer skills for 7 year old

I’d love some recommendations for my 7 year old son who plays soccer in a recreational league during the year, and has a lot of enthusiasm for the sport, but could do with some skills coaching. We tried British Soccer Summer Challenger Camp and visited the Skills Institute at the Bladium, but he said while both programs were fun, he didn’t learn much. Where do semi-beginners go for some serious coaching? Ideally we’d like to stick to Alameda where we live, but open to East Bay for camps, classes, etc. Thank you!
