Sierra Club SF Bay Chapter
Community SubscriberThe San Francisco Bay Chapter is the local branch of the Sierra Club, America's largest and most effective grassroots environmental organization. The Bay Chapter offers outings and educational programs in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, and San Francisco counties. Our office is located on San Pablo Avenue in Berkeley, where we host a regular, free family program designed for children under 6. The program, called KALE (Kids Actively Learning Environmentalism!), engages young children with stories and lessons about nature and the environment around them. Programs include a story-time followed by a hands-on activity or craft. It is held the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month, 10:30-11:15AM, at 2530 San Pablo Avenue (near Dwight), Suite I, Berkeley.
