VISIONS Service Adventures: Only 49 Teen Summer Service Programs Spaces Left!

Spring is in full swing and summer is around the corner! Our summer programs begin in June and end in August. Each location has multiple sessions and works with most families' busy schedules.

Your teen can join us on three different program sites!

Montana Blackfeet Indian Reservation: These are unique opportunities that not many people get to experience and we’d love to have kids who are interested in Native American culture and traditions join us. Here is an overview of the itineraries; the dates and specific ceremonies are:

Blackfeet Session I 
June 17 - 30 (14 days)

Blackfeet Session II
July 5 - 21 (17 days)
Native American Indian Days annual powwow
Circle Camp sacred ceremony (Akao’katsin in Blackfeet)

Blackfeet Session III
July 26 - August 11 (17 days)

Heart Butte Indian Days annual powwow

Peru: Teens work with indigenous Quechua people on water conservation, and spend their days at the base of the Andes in the Sacred Valley of the Inca, exploring Machu Picchu and other ancient ruins. They become part of the community through artisan workshops, soccer games, hikes, music and a day stay with local families. Programs longer than 15 days require 2 years of Spanish study. Dominican Republic: One of our oldest programs! Teens are taken in like old friends in one of the most energized cultures of the Western Hemisphere, and the impact of service is profound. An experience far off the tourist path, and impossible to create without the backdrop of more than three decades of partnerships between VISIONS and our Dominican hosts. Check out the itineraries.
