And Sew We Grow: Sewing Summer Camp for Ages 9+

Sewing Summer Camp at And Sew We Grow has just a few spots left and it's going to be quite a sweet & exciting week of exploring doll-making & doll clothes.

Dates are either June 9-13 or June 16-20

Camp runs from 10am-3pm at my cozy and comfortable home in Oakland. Class sizes are small (maximum 6 kids) to insure that all participants receive plenty of help & guidance with projects. Some sewing experience is required because we use sewing machines and hot irons and so I only work with kids ages 9 & up. 

We will be spending the mornings mostly hand-sewing heirloom animal dolls with wool felt. Each afternoon we move to the sewing machines and work on creating a wardrobe for our dolls using some vintage fabrics I've collected throughout the year. This camp was such a thrill for everyone involved last year, so I am bringing it back due to popular demand. 

Cost is $650 + $75 materials fee.
