Now enrolling for Pikler/RIE®-style parent-infant play groups starting in May!

Led by early childhood professional, Shannon Foster, these observation-based play groups invite parents to take a step back and witness the natural unfolding of their infant's gross motor development and early social relationships. We’ll also explore the value of collaborative, respectful, and dignified care when engaging your infant in tasks like diapering and toileting, feeding, and dressing. Playgroup information below!

Location: Berkeley Yoga Center (near Strawberry Creek Park in West Berkeley)

Pre-Mobile Babies Group: This group is for babies who are back-lying and working their way toward rolling, rocking, and army crawling, typically between the ages of 2 and 7 months. Competent crawlers are invited to join the Mobile Babies group.

• Price: $360 for an 8-week session
• DATES + TIME: Thursdays - 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm

Mobile Babies Groups: This group is for babies who are crawling, kneeling, pulling to stand, cruising, and freshly walking, typically between the ages of 7 and 13 months.

• DATES + TIME: Sundays - 11:00 am to 12:30 pm
  • 5/18/25, 5/25/25, 6/1/25, 6/8/25 (NO PLAY GROUP - BYC in use for alternate programming), 6/15/25, 6/22/25, 6/29/25, 7/6/25, 7/13/25
