Can Someone Recommend an Endocrinologist? For Zepbound Support

Hello there BPN.

I am looking for a supportive non-judgemental endocrinologist here in the East Bay that will work with me on my obesity using Zepbound. The endocrinologist my PCP referred me to has an opening... in July. That's too long a wait for me.

I have Anthem Blue Cross PPO.

Have you found someone you think is great or heard nice things about a doctor here in the East Bay? Please share either as a comment or direct message. Thank you very much.

I have been using Dr. Nadolsky's new virtual clinic for my Zepbound prescription and support: https://joinvineyard.com/

Comes with a weight lifting program dietician, etc. and he can order panels here in the Bay Area, etc. Has a monthly fee vs. insurance model though.

Grace Eng was my endocrinologist. I highly recommend her. She is soft spoken, kind, and attentive.

Will your PCP not prescribe Zepbound for you or is there some reason you need an endocrinologist to monitor you?

I started going to a concierge doctor and he got me a prescription to Zepbound and then argued with the insurance company for a refill. He has absolutely been worth the cost since he has saved me much more than he costs. I did try a different concierge doctor first who was a judgmental jerk asking if I had ever thought about just losing weight when I asked for a prescription, so even if you are paying you need to look for the right fit.

Good luck on your weight loss journey. Mine has been a slow trek but Zepbound has been absolutely life changing for me. I hope you have similar good luck.
