Chikiland Daycare: Asistente de guarderia - Bilingual daycare assistant

Hi! My name is Maria, I'm the owner of a small family Daycare. Currently, I have an open position for a Spanish-speaking Daycare assistant.

I'm looking for someone highly responsible, kind, and proactive who loves playing with infants and toddlers.

Requirements for the position: 

• Previous experience working with infants 6-36 months months (Preferred). 
• CPR & First Aid certification. 
• Hablar Español. 

Some resposibilities: 

• Feed infants/toddlers
• Serves meals and refreshments as directed by the Daycare owner.
• Changes infant/toddler diapers or clothes as needed, adhering to always appropriate diapering procedure so including assuring the cleanliness of work areas and proper disposal of diapers.
• Plays with infants/toddlers to stimulate growth, according to daily routines.
• Cradles and cuddles infants/toddlers as needed.
• Prepares infant/toddler for departure or arrival.
• Maintains safety and health standards.
• Adheres to work schedule and daily routines.
• Maintains work areas in a sanitary and attractive manner including, but not limited to sanitizing high chairs, tables, kitchen countertops, and sinks after feedings and at the end of each day.
• Adheres to all established policies and procedures.
• Walks around the neighborhood
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Schedule: 20 to 25 hours per week

Location: Richmond CA. (A few blocks away from El Cerrito del Norte Bart Station)
