Dandelion Cooperative Nursery School: Dandelion Nursery School Open House

Dandelion Cooperative Nursery School is hosting an open house on Saturday, February 8th, 2025 from 10-12.  Parents are welcome to bring their children who are looking to start preschool in the fall of 2025.  We will have the school set up like a normal school day, with sensory bins, art table, playdough etc.  Children and parents can have a mini Dandelion experience and ask questions to the volunteer parents and teachers as their children play.  

Dandelion Nursery School is a parent cooperative preschool in Berkeley, California. Dandelion has been a vibrant part of the community for over 50 years, bringing together and giving young children a wonderful introduction to school.

At Dandelion, teachers, parents, and children collaborate to create a rich learning experience. Together, we encourage children’s play, take their thoughts seriously, and support both children’s independence and their desire to interact with peers. Parents meet and discuss issues and concerns common to families with young children and attend to running the school. Families participating in our co-op form a supportive and enriching community.
