NEW CLASS/NEW TIME Creative Dance for 4-5 yr olds - Offered Wednesday afternoons 

This class for TK aged students offers a safe and rigorous environment for children to explore their moving bodies in space, strengthen spatial awareness within a group, and feel empowered in their artistic voice. We aim to cultivate a supportive community that honors each child's sense of agency and freedom. We will harness the elements of space (line, path, level, size, and focus) and energy to discover new ways of expressing creative ideas and feelings.

NEW CLASS/NEW TIME Dance Improvisation for 8-11 yr olds - Offered Wednesday afternoons

Students learn the art of Improvisation which includes the rigorous skills or observation, attunement, and in-the-moment choice-making. Movement invention is encouraged as dancers create phrases, shape ideas within an improvisation score, and synthesize their life experiences into short dance studies. This class offers an encouraging community where students can safely take-risks, share reflections with one another, and hone their artistic voices.
