SAHA Homes: New Year->Volunteer! Help low income seniors & families

Are you looking to help your community in the New Year? Volunteer with Satellite Affordable Housing Associates (SAHA). We are a non-profit housing organization based in Berkeley that provides affordable housing and services to seniors, families, and individuals who have low incomes and/or special needs across the Bay Area.

Positions are open in Oakland, Berkeley, and other parts of the Bay Area, and include supporting our food distribution program, leading exercise and wellness classes, hosting social hours and bingo games, and more. This is great for community service requirements, including those for high school graduation. Teens must be at least 16 years old to volunteer by themselves. Both one-time and ongoing opportunities are available; ongoing opportunities require a 4-month commitment and can be worked around semester deadlines.
