Sarah Dobkin, LCSW: 11/13: New Parent Gathering: Community Building Group

Parent Classes, Workshops & Groups
City:
Oakland
Ages:
Babies, Adults

Sleep-deprived? Feeling overwhelmed? Isolated? Welcome to parenthood! You are not alone – and we want to prove it by bringing together parents of babies to share in this profound experience together.

This one-time, 90-minute group session will be led by Andrew Gordon-Kirsch and Sarah Dobkin, new parent support group facilitators and parents of young children themselves. During the session everyone will have a chance to:

  • Connect with other parents with similar aged babies
  • Share experiences and gain valuable insights about this stage of life
  • Ask and answer questions about anything parenting

Whether you are a first-time parent or you’ve been here before, we want you to have a place where you can build community, learn from other parents, and share the hacks you’ve picked up along the way. Our goal is you leave with more connection, more confidence, and a bigger cheering squad. We also have some resources to share too.

All are welcome: moms, dads, non-binary parents, birthing parents, adoptive parents, single parents, parents of multiples

Sign up today! Let us know if you’ll be able to join us by filling out this interest form. We can’t wait to meet you and your babies.
