Alameda Young Naturalist Club: Thanksgiving Holiday Camp!

Summer & Holiday Camps Now Enrolling
City:
Alameda
Ages:
School-Aged

Join us for three days of gratitude as we enjoy the natural world on local foraging walks, play field games, and spend time getting to know our animals! Holiday-theme activities will include conversations on Indigenous culture, making crafts, outdoor cooking and an opportunity for kids to partake in 'trade blanket'.

Camp runs Monday, November 25th, Tues Nov 26, Wed Nov 27th. Camp runs 9a - 3p with extended day until 4p if needed. Sibling discount available.

Camp takes place at two locations:

East end of Alameda, close to Krusi Park. 2900 Calhoun St. Alameda

West end of Alameda at R.E.A.P Climate Center. 2133 Tynan Ave. Alameda

A generous portion of this week's registration fee will be shared with the Sogorea Te’ Land Trust, an Oakland based, Indigenous, women-led non profit that facilitates the return of Indigenous land to Indigenous people.
