Allergy/eczema support group?
My 9 month old was recently diagnosed with several food allergies. He is also battling eczema. I’m hoping to find a support group or friends in a similar situation. Any ideas or advice?

I'm in a couple of Facebook groups but unaware of any others in the area

Both are good.
I was in a few others, but found them too overwhelming and couldn't stand seeing photos of rashes and people asking the internet for medical advice... Thats what specialists are for!
You can also check FARE to see if there is a local group, or ask your allergist.

Hi. My daughter, now seven, is severely (anaphylactic) allergic to sesame, mustard, fish and lentils. I now live in the UK but am on the sesame and mustard/seeds allergy Facebook pages, which are enormously helpful for general and specific advice and the people are, overall, very kind and supportive. Those are great for finding safe (however you define it) foods and talking things over. I am sure there are local groups too. If you want very good and detailed info try anaphylaxiscampaign.co.uk, which has fact sheets and more, for the 14 allergens on the EU's list of regulated allergens. Also, feel free to get in touch.
