Creative Drawing Exploration is a fun and unique class that gives students an opportunity to express themselves creatively through drawing. We will be taking inspiration from unique real-world images which incorporate interesting colors, textures, and shapes. Students will learn basic drawing techniques using the elements of art and will be experimenting with representational and abstract concepts while also using their own intuition and imagination.
There is no right or wrong in this class and no prior drawing experience is necessary! Join us and have some fun! This class aids in the development of visual art skills, which can help prepare students for entering visual arts high schools and beyond.
Materials:
basic drawing or sketch paper, a basic set of colored pencils, regular pencil (can be drawing pencils or basic No. 2 pencil), eraser, pencil sharpener
