After School Options for Hillcrest Elemantary

Our daughter is waitlisted for Hillcrest Elementary for the 2024-2025 school year (for 1st Grade). There's a slim chance she will get in, but if she does, we will need Afterschool care for her on all 5 weekdays as my husband and I both have to go into work on most days. Does anyone know what the current Afterschool Program options are at Hillcrest? I know they have the BACR Aftercare but is that hard to get into? Are there any other private Aftercare options that pick kids up from the school?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

BACR is very popular at Hillcrest; our kid is a current Kindergartener and I think 3/4 of kinders if not more are in BACR. It's on-site and the kids basically have the run of the school. BACR offers a handful of "enrichment" type classes (dance, tech, drama, lego, art, etc.) that are popular with the kids. The staff are mostly young and energetic. I believe everyone who wants to enroll gets in, unlike some of the other OUSD elementary schools. It's not perfect (I'm not sure what aftercare is) but it's affordable and keeps our kid happy.

I don't know about private aftercare alternatives that are popular with Hillcrest families, or programs that pick up at the school. Parents with older kids might have suggestions

I remember from tthe Hillcrest tour that the principal said that BACR would hire as many staff needed as kids that applied, so I don't think you need to worry about spots. We're a new family, so I'm not aware of pick-up options.
