Parking on Telegraph for 16 Year Old
Hello - My 16 year old daughter is working at a new cafe on Telegraph and Bancroft this summer. I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions on parking for her in the area - either a cheap garage or a residential neighborhood where she can park for longer periods of time that don't require permits. She certainly is willing to walk a further distance if it means saving money on parking. Would love any insight as we don't live in the area. Thank you!

The RSF (UC Berkeley) garage is on Bancroft and there is a City of Berkeley Garage on Durant. Some of the streets on the east side of Telegraph have 8 hour metered parking, your daughter might want to do some scouting to see which option is cheaper, or better yet check if public transit would work for her.
