We've been sending our 20 mo daughter to Donya for about four months now, and we couldn't be happier. Donya is incredibly warm, thoughtful, and wonderful with our kid—so much so that for months "Donya" became one of her primary words for getting her needs met—at home!

Donya is flexible with extra days other needs as they arrive. The kid to adult ratio is the best we've found—at least until you send your kid there! We're thrilled, also, that our daughter is exposed to multiple languages and cultures in Donya's care. It's such a relief to have such a wonderful, dependable and positive person to help raise our child.

100% recommend Donya’s Home Day Care! She has been taking care of our daughter for over a year now, and I trust her immensely. She is warm, kind, playful, and deeply caring to our daughter. On top of that, she is also a joy to be around and has become a trusted friend. I absolutely love her home and feel so grateful my daughter gets to spend time there each day. Her home is very clean and perfectly set up for children with a separate play area and sleeping area just for the children. It is often filled with lively music and art (her husband is a professional Tar player, Donya sings, and her young daughter is an incredibly talented pianist) and Donya does morning singing circle with the kids each morning. The house also always smells like incredible home cooked meals (Donya is the best Persian cook and makes the kids homemade lunch everyday!). (I’ve actually hired Donya as a personal chef, her food is truly amazing). She also is teaching my daughter Farsi and Azeri, and it is very fun to see the language explosion in multiple languages. If you want your child to be well taken care of and loved like family, and in an artistic, intelligent, loving, international and creative home, Donya’s home day care is the place!!  We’ve had a number of childcare providers over the years with my two girls and couldn’t be happier with Donya. I will also share that during the summer my 4 year old also goes to Donya’s house for “summer camp.”  Donya has turned her into a “special helper” and is teaching her cooking and music and art to help with the babies/ toddlers. I know there is currently room for one or two more kiddos… Feel free to reach out if you have any questions- happy to discuss parent to parent!

We're so lucky to have Donya in our lives. She's been looking after our little one since she was 3 months old or so and now she's 18 months, and our daughter is absolutely in love with her. When we drop her off in the morning, she giggles and runs to the door. And when we pick her up in the afternoon she is bright and cheerful and full of smiles. Donya is far more than just a daycare provider, she really gives your child the kind of love and attention they would get at home.

When we were initially looking for day care for our then 6 month old daughter, we looked at a few options, some fancier and more expensive than others but Donya was our first stop. When my fiancée and I got back into our car, we knew that no matter what we looked at over the next few days, no one was going to give us the sense of relaxation and trust we felt after one meeting with Donya.

Now, almost 2 years later, our daughter's development had been astonishing to watch, and this is due largely to the way Donya has taken care of her. Donya's family is a musical family and so music and all of its cognitive benefits are being soaked up on a daily basis by my Daughter, Olivia. Donya also dedicated time during the day for drawing, for writing, for outside play time, and even dancing! Most importantly dancing! Olivia comes home singing songs she has learned with Donya, drawing letters Donya has shown her how to draw, articulating and identifying things in the world that Donya has given her the language for.

This is to say nothing of the care and attention she takes in preparing meals for the children in her care. My fiancée and I are constantly asking for her recipes.

We not only have someone incredibly warm and family oriented taking care of our daughter, but our small family, most importantly, has made a special kind of friend in Donya, her husband (and brilliant musician) Aydin, and the incredible example their young daughter Dyana sets for the other children. I'm not just lucky to have found someone like Donya for the day to day care of my daughter, but honored to know them as the incredible people, the incredible artists, the great friends that they have become.
