Special Education Teacher Available for Summer Tutoring K-6

Hello,

I’m a credentialed public school Special Education teacher available to tutor K-6 students in language arts, reading comprehension and decoding (reading).  I can assist your K-6 child with math calculation and math word problems. I have training in Orton-Gillingham methods for multisensory reading instruction (decoding) for remediating dyslexia. I can assist your child with writing (handwriting, sentences, paragraphs, essays). I have over 20 years experience working with students with learning disabilities including students with ADD/ADHD and with kids on the autism spectrum. I can assist your middle schooler or high schooler for short term projects, essays, reports, decoding and reading comprehension. I reside in Alameda and I’m able to tutor in person nearby at your home or local library (Alameda/Oakland).  Alternatively, you can come to Alameda for tutoring at my home or at the local library. I'm also available to tutor online.
