How much to give for Israeli wedding

Hi BPN -

My first cousin's daughter is getting married this year in Israel. I am close to my cousin but we are not planning attend the wedding, which is going to be quite an extravagant affair. Can anyone advise as to what would be an appropriate amount to give? I don't have a sense of what the norms are there, and don't want to give something that is too far off. If they were here, I'd likely spend about $200 or so on a gift. Thank you in advance for any advice or guidance.

$200 is about right, if you are close

I don’t think it’s different than here in terms of the amount to give . I think $200 is great. I don’t think it’s odd to give less or more since you aren’t attending the wedding, it’s really just a nice gesture
