Award-winning writer available for high school/college essay coaching and general writing tutoring

I'm an award-winning journalist and writing coach available for college essay/writing tutoring. I have more than 10 years of experience tutoring high school, college, and graduate students in writing. I am available for anyone who seeks general writing tutoring and/or coaching for high school, college and graduate school applications. I am available to assist with all stages of the essay process, from brainstorming ideas to drafting, crafting, honing, and polishing compelling personal narratives. I graduated with honors from the Johns Hopkins University's Writing Seminars Program and hold a Master's in journalism from UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism. My writing has appeared in a wide range of national magazines and newspapers, from the Atlantic to the Guardian and the Washington Post, and has been honored with numerous grants, fellowships, and awards. I'm also an experienced writing tutor. I'm currently coaching low-income Oakland high school students pro-bono in college essay applications, worked as a college admissions essay coach and creative writing tutor in public schools in Baltimore, San Francisco, and Buenos Aires, Argentina. I've also edited a range of graduate-school personal statements for clients, from medical/law school applicants to PhD candidates in film studies and Masters candidates in global development.
