Do you recommend Granny Goose Daycare? (Longfellow, Oakland)
Hello! My partner and I are seeking childcare for our baby who will be 6 months when he starts daycare. We recently met Valerie at Granny Goose Daycare and toured the space. We enjoyed meeting her and learning more about the center! However, I only see 2 reviews on BPN-- one review is from 2019 and the other from 2020. Does anyone have a more recent experience with Granny Goose and/or Valerie and her staff? Since both reviews were written before the pandemic, we're hoping to connect with a family who can provide a more updated review. Thank you for sharing what your recent experience has been like!

We had our daughter at Granny Goose from around June, 2020, when she was 7 months old, through Sept., 2022, when she turned 3. We loved Ms. Valerie! Would highly recommend. She and the other teachers who worked there were extremely COVID conscious during the pandemic. My only complaint was that as restrictions eased, they were still extremely strict with making sure kids had no cold symptoms. And that can be kinda hard when kids have coughs that linger for a couple weeks even after they are no longer contagious. But otherwise, we thought she provided really great care for our daughter and our daughter loved her, too. Hope that helps!

Hi, my daughter went to Granny Goose daycare and flourished there! She went from 5 months to 14 months. I attribute so much of her skill growth to the people at her daycare. They supported every milestone, and I think her being there and around older toddlers helped her walk and talk pretty quickly. Valerie has such a positive energy and was so supportive and helpful as a FTM. I always appreciated the warm and enthusiastic welcome every morning at drop off. My daughter was always happy at drop off and the other kiddos were so cute with her too. LMK if you have any questions.
