Seeking volunteer opportunities with children for 14 year old
We have a 14 year old son who is great with kids and we would love for him to have a place where he can volunteer that would include playing with children. Left to his own devices, he would play video games all day, but when put in a situation with younger children, he comes alive. We live in El Cerrito, so would be looking for volunteer opportunities within a 15 min drive or less. Eager for any recommendations!

Check your college and career center as many places post opportunities at local high schools
many elementary or middle schools also have after school opportunities
And others post opportunities at volunteer match.org which you can filter by location, cause etc
Hi Jamal. I have a 14yo boy and a 10yo girl who need to learn to speak English. I am pretty sure that this is not what you had in mind, but would you consider having your boy be a volunteer PAL for non-native speakers? My kids have a level of understanding but need to be more exposed. They enjoy board games and could hang out in parks, libraries, or at home. We speak Portuguese and Spanish.
