Podiatrist
Hi all, does anyone have a podiatrist they love? I have been seeing a doctor in Oakland for a pain in the ball of my foot, but have been disappointed in his care. I think he actually made it worse. If anyone has a podiatrist they loved, ideally in Oakland or Berkeley, please let me know!

I love my podiatrist Colleen Kenny (925) 685-3117--excellent knowledgable care --unlike previous experience. Affiliated with John Muir.
She is out in Concord, but well worth the drive IMHO
I was recently under the care of Dr. Yuko Miyazaki, in south Berkeley. I thought she was a great listener and approached my issue with a good attitude (curious, compassionate). She was also right about what would help me. Also, the experience was very convenient. You can book online, and she also has an x-ray right in her office. Happy to recommend her.

Another vote for Jenny Sanders at FDFAC. She is great, and her practice is also so well run… immediate responses to my texts (during business hours), transparency about pricing, super easy scheduling. I love them! And have seen Dr. Sanders for both knee and foot issues. Have referred many friends to her as well. She is in SF but very close to Embarcadero BART, so very accessible from the east bay.
I had terrible plantar fasciitis and Jonathan K. Huey, DPM was really instrumental for helping me. If I had another foot problem I would see him in a heartbeat. He's punctual, organized, empathetic, and gives simple, understandable instructions!
I love Dr. Audrey Alvarez of Bay Area Foot Care. She practices in San Leandro and Castro Valley, and I was happy to drive there to receive her care - she's worth it!
I would like to recommend Dr. Anthony Poggio. He practices in both Albany and Alameda with Bay Area Foot Care. Dr. Poggio takes time with his patients, listens carefully to presenting issues, offers multiple options when available.
