Tahkus studied vocal technique at the Los Angeles College of Music and is currently the lead singer for the Contemporary Praise & Worship Band at St. Hilary Church in Tiburon, CA. She works with a variety of producers and clients as a session vocalist, including multi-platinum Grammy award winning producer, Narada Michael Walden.

Tahkus teaches private lessons out of her home in East Richmond Heights, and is also available for online/zoom lessons.
