Basketball team for 10-year old?
Our 10-year-old son really wants to join a basketball team where there are one or two practices per week and regular games. Nothing too intense, but some good coaching and team camaraderie. Thus far I've only found leagues that involve tryouts and regular travel games...that's not what we're looking for at this point. He's enjoyed playing little league through Albany Little League and would like something similarly structured for basketball, but I haven't been able to find anything easily.

Check out webasketball with Rick Slettedahl who runs a casual league that takes place at University Village in Albany or in Berkeley. My son enjoyed participating in his classes, summer camps and league when he was between 8-11. It's not competitive, Rick is passionate about teaching life lessons as well as basketball skills.
