Community SubscriberTutu School is coming to Berkeley! Tutu School is a quaint boutique of a ballet school that offers creative dance education for young children ages 18 months to 8 years old! What's unique about our program is we only cater to children, and we introduce children to music and movement using classical ballet stories (Swan Lake, Coppelia, Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker) and music (e.g. Tchaikovsky). We went to Tutu School and did their Tutu Toddlers class (parent participation) and it was good but has more ballet focus. Maybe check out Berkeley Ballet Theatre for their We Dance Together parent/toddler class? When I spoke to them they explained it was more about movement and play rather than ballet instruction.
