Emery High reviews?

Hi BPN community,

We have a 7th grader and are trying to get a sense of our high school options early. We live in Oakland, but only a couple blocks from the Emeryville border. I am intrigued by Emery High because it is so small for a public high school, and I like some things I have read and heard about the school. But, I have not known anyone who has attended the school. Can anyone speak from experience about what they like and/or don't like about the school? And/or has anyone gotten an interdistrict transfer to attend Emeryville schools?
