Languages to try out for kids?

Hi all!

We're looking for a language for our kids to learn! We think it's really important to be bilingual and to learn another language especially when you're growing up.

We tried a bit of spanish since it's spoken a lot in california but had a bit of trouble, are there any tutors you'd recommend ? Or another language we might want to try out?

Thank you so much!

There are many languages out there to choose from… One thing to realize, though, is that raising a bilingual kid a big commitment. The child has to be exposed to the foreign language at least 30% of the time to be truly fluent in it. My daughter is bilingual and it’s a lot of work and effort for me, even though I am a native speaker of the language.
So — weigh your options and pick a language that you can provide maximum exposure to.
