Professional, single mother with crazy and varying schedules is looking for a
caregiver for my wonderful 6yrs old daughter. My schedule is unpredictable,
so flexibility is key. Additionally, I would like some help with shopping,
errand running and straightening of the living room area that tends to be
constantly covered in toys no matter how hard I try! Responsibilities will
include some driving, so driver’s license and excellent driving record are
necessary – I can provide the car.
Pay rate is $25 to $35 per hour(Negotiable)
Work hours: 35+ hours per week

I am currently looking for a personal assistant to take care of my to-do list
and provide time-saving solutions for my busy schedule. I have more things
to do and less time to get them done so I'll be needing someone to help me
with finding that one hard to find item, or complete my entire gift list for
autumn.
Additionally, I would like some help with errands and anything else that
buys me more time!
My offer is $20-25/hour and I will be needing you for 15-30 hours every week.
If you can be of assistance, please email me directly at ph807050 [at] gmail.com (ph807050[at]gmail[dot]com)
Thank you!

For Hire: Part Time Personal/Family/Business Assistant
Hello! We are looking to hire someone as a personal/family business
assistant. This person will help us to accomplish tasks that we have less and
less time to complete ourselves. These tasks include things like online
research, email management, data gathering/entry, phone calls, and some
shopping/errand running. We are thinking it would be no more than 5-20 hours
a week. Hours are completely flexible, though some items will require timely
completion. We plan to pay either by the project (larger tasks) or by time at
$20/hour (for smaller tasks).
We think this might be well-suited for a college or grad student who is
looking to make some money part-time. But anyone is welcome to apply! We
would love to hire someone within the Church. We’d prefer someone who is
comfortable communicating by phone, has a professional demeanor, basic
spreadsheet capability (google sheets or excel), is a google search phenom
and who’s ready to start right away!
If you or someone you know is interested, please have them send an email to
ph807050 [at] gmail.com (ph807050[at]gmail[dot]com) with “Personal/Family/Business Assistant” in the
subject line and the following 3 things:
1. Name
2. Resume (If available)
3. One example of why you’re great for this role
Thanks!

Example of Scam Text sent to a babysitter
A nanny had posted on BPN and included her phone number and email address on her post (which BPN does not recommend. Instead, please use BPN's messaging system so we can track spammers.) The scammer texted the nanny, referring to information in her post. The nanny wrote:
I received a text tonight which read:
"Hello <they used my full name>, how are you doing?"
I thought it might be spam so I replied, "?". They replied:
"i got your number from berkeleyparentsnetwork" .
I didn't reply. They replied:
"i need a babysitter". and " Hello are you still there?"
The reason I think it's spam is that usually moms and dads introduce themselves, tell a bit about the job or how many children they have, ect. The phone number to this person is: 1.760.865.9538 Thanks so much!
