Math with Ms. Woodruff

These courses aim to fill in some of the math content gaps caused by the disruptions to this year's learning, while also building students into better learners more broadly. ​The courses - either on trig or exponential & logarithmic functions - will dig deep into the content so that students develop both fluency in problem-solving and a rich conceptual understanding of the material. In the process, students will develop confidence and a sense of empowerment that naturally comes with content mastery, but also because we will explicitly cultivate it; each course explores growth mindset, math identity, and the psychology behind the learning process as well. These are much more than your typical math content refresher courses!
