EVERY CHILD BERKELEY IS NOW OPEN FOR ENROLLMENT!
Greetings Parents,
Every Child Berkeley was founded and is overseen by experts in child development and psychology. We are dedicated to providing a warm, creative and meaningful environment to nurture self empowerment in each child, while exploring concepts of cooperation, empathy, responsibility and respect for adults, classmates, and their surrounding communities.
Supported by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and the principle of children as co-author to the learning process, we promote a unique opportunity of skill building through validation of each child's voice.
Our school includes two classrooms of 12 children, The Pappus (age 2 to 3) and the Dandelion (age 3 to 5). In classrooms teacher:child ratio 1:4 (Pappus) and 1:6 (Dandelion).

Parents, please Sign in to post a review on this page.Every Child Berkeley now moved to El Cerrito and called Every Child Bay. We joined Every Child Berkeley when he was 20 months and now he is 3.5 years old. He made a lot of progress for his social emotion skills which was a big concern for us as well as speech and motor skills. Every Child is a very good and unique inclusive preschool, where they combine the Reggio Emilia approach with G-ESDM approach for both NT kids and kids on ASD spectrum. The program director is from the famous MIND institute at UC Davis. Teachers are trained with G-ESDM so that they are able to provide necessary therapy to kids on the spectrum as well as handle behavior challenges and model them in the proper ways. Kids there are able to learn new skills in a naturalistic way and make friends in the group ESDM setting which is good for both NT kids and kids on spectrum.
We just toured at Every Child Berkeley and they have a whole section of their website about inclusion and their staff has training based on the Group Early Start Denver model (https://everychildberkeley.org/ecb-inclusion). We didn't know anything about this prior to finding them and they were very passionate about it when we visited their location - so maybe this might be a good fit. We are not attending their preschool, as they have a waitlist at the moment, but I would definitely check them out. Hope this helps!
