Haircuts for straight hair

Looking for a new hair stylist/colorist in Berkeley, Albany, Rockridge area, who can cut bobs. My cherished hair stylist moved out of town. It would be helpful if they didn't charge an arm & a leg as well. The archives on this subject are awfully old. Thanks. shaggy lady

I have been getting my hair cut with Betty since almost 10 years and i have been following her from places. She listen to you very well and she does a great job with my hair .It looks like you have the same type of hair. I love Dani Juni at Remedy Salon on 65th in Emeryville - she has done my hair at all lenghts, different styles and coloring/high lights. Reasonable rates 0+ She is part-owner at this nice salon of young women - if Dani is not available, try the other stylists. 510-547-5000. no longer shaggy (for a month anyway)

Charles Ponzo can do an excellent job with bobs for straight hair. (I have been SO pleased with what's he's done for mine.) I don't know if he does color, however. His business is Ponzo Hair Design , 5430 College Ave. (at Manila) in Oakland, 510/658-8514. And he charges very reasonable rates for haircuts. kathy

Where to Get a Good Layered Haircut for Straight Hair

I need some recommendation where to get a layered haircut. My hair is shoulderlenght and straight and I have a long face and my hair makes my face appear even longer. I already consulted the website on hairplaces but would like to know specificly about getting a layered haircut. Is there any good place in Berkeley or Albany ? How much does it usually cost ?
