If you're in Brooklyn, try Park Slope Parents (https://www.parkslopeparents.com). Just be careful if you find a blue hat. https://www.thecut.com/2017/12/the-park-slope-blue-hat-incident-10-year…

Park Slope in Brooklyn is the Berkeley of the East Coast. Check out Park Slope Parents Group...

Hi, my family and I moved from Brooklyn to Oakland this last August (my kids are 3 and 6). Since NYC is such a big city, I found that most group are localized by borough, then my neighborhood, and many of them are on Facebook. I was part of a very active BoCoCa Moms Facebook group, for example. If you are going to be in Brooklyn, Park Slope Parents is a wonderful resource, as is Brooklyn Bridge Parents, and I'm sure neighborhood in Manhattan or Queens likely have the same. Good luck! NYC is the best.

  • Hi all,

I’ve been a member of the Berkeley Parents Network for many many years and now have a new grandchild in Los Angeles. We don’t know of anything like BPN in LA. Does anybody have any suggestions for how to find a similar resource in LA?

     Thanks!

    Hi,

LA has PeachHead (lead by Linda Perry) that is similar to BPN. Don’t have a link, but you can just Google it.
