City of Berkeley Public Health Emergency Preparedness
Community SubscriberBerkeley
The City of Berkeley Public Health provides trainings, drills, exercises and informational materials to ensure that Berkeley residents are prepared and can respond to natural and man-made disasters. We create guides, plans and templates for healthcare providers and community-based organizations (CBOs) to coordinate public health emergency preparedness efforts. The Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) program is responsible for planning all-hazard emergencies that may impact the health of our community. PHEP convenes many stakeholder groups throughout the city to plan, drill and exercise specific coordinated responses.
