We LOVE The Child Unique in Alameda. Our son (3.5 yrs old) goes to the Pacific site, but they also have another location on Encinal. If you're considering Montessori, you may want to check out The Child Unique in Alameda. Our son (3.5 yrs old) has been attending the Pacific site since he was 2 and we LOVE it. I am amazed by how much he has learned there, and they have really helped him develop socially. Also, I like that he has always been able to access the materials that might be more appropriate for the ''older'' kids, so that learning opportunities are really ''self-paced''. They do offer part-time but I don't know what they have available for this fall.
