Experienced Piano Teacher

I have been teaching classical piano for several decades, and am now looking for new and motivated students.

Weekly lessons will include technique, sight-reading, theory, a little ear-training and theory, playing piano pieces you have worked on, and the study of how to practice well. You will learn pieces by a variety of composers, and have performance opportunities, including the Music Teacher's Association recitals, if you are ready.

 I have studied and re-trained in the Taubman technique, which is a wonderful way to physically approach the piano and avoid injuries. These techniques will be passed on to my students.

I am interested in students who have time to practice on a regular basis.

I look to make the lessons a time of learning, interest and gratification.
