Join Chrysalis Girls Adventures for a friends & family hike in the redwoods with LADYBUGS!!! (By the hundreds, even thousands!) These fun little creatures will be waking up from hibernation at this time, and they're an amazing sight to behold.

When: Saturday, January 25th, 10:30am

Where: Redwood Regional Park, Canyon Meadow Staging Area

Route: We'll hike along the Steam Trail towards the Prince Trail, stopping along the way for fun nature appreciation/exploring.  It's a relatively flat, out-and-back hike, with the first 3/4 mile paved. You can turn around at the end of the path and make it an easy 1.5 mile hike in the redwoods (likely seeing a few ladybugs), OR continue to the Prince Trail - often the ladybug "mecca" - and join us for a round-trip hike of approx. 3 miles.

Bring: Good walking/hiking shoes that can get dirty/muddy, Full water bottle, Lunch/snacks, Warm layers, Rain layers, Hat, Phone/camera for capturing the experience!

Hosted by: Chrysalis Girls Adventures, a non-profit project focused on empowering girls with confidence, courage, and compassion through outdoor adventure. For more information, please visit: chrysalisgirls.org.

Cost: FREE // Donations welcome & provide scholarships for Chrysalis Girls Adventures summer courses!

RSVPs appreciated, but not required: https://www.facebook.com/events/1367473091305364/
