W.I.L.D. (Wilderness Immersion and Leadership Development): Teen backpacking adventures in the Sierras

Join Back to Earth and the WILD program on the adventure of a lifetime.

Now in its 11th season, Back to Earth has guided hundreds of teens on transformative wilderness immersions since 2015, opening young people's eyes to what is sacred and wild within and around them.

Our 10-day WILD One courses for high school age youth are at or near capacity for this season, although there are a few spots available for those who move quickly.

There are still spots available on our week long Intro to WILD courses for current 7th and 8th graders. See the full summer schedule for details. These trips are an amazing way to prepare for the transition to high school.
