San Francisco Girls Chorus: Sign Up for a Singing Placement and Sing With Us!

Does your child have an aptitude for or interest in music? The San Francisco Girls Chorus is the perfect place to nurture that interest, with excellent music education, exciting performance opportunities, and a community of caring staff, faculty, and families. Singers aged 6-14 are invited to take a Singing Placement, which is a low-stakes opportunity for singers to demonstrate where they are at in their musical journey. We host these meetings to get to know each singer and ensure they are placed in the correct ensemble based on their age and skill level.

2025 Singing Placement Schedule

Placements for singers ages 6-11 will take place at the Kanbar Performing Arts Center (44 Page St in SF) at the following dates/times:
March 22, 1 to 3 pm
April 12, 1 to 3 pm
May 10, 10 am to 3 pm

Placements for singers ages 12-14 will take place virtually at the following dates/times:
April 19, 10 am to 12 pm
April 21, 4 to 6 pm

Each placement lasts for 15 minutes

Singers may register at either our Emeryville or Hayes Valley campus upon completion of their Placement.
