GirlVentures: Join us this Summer! Applications are Open!

GirlVentures inspires girls and gender expansive youth to lead through outdoor adventure, inner discovery, and collective action.

The only nonprofit of its kind, GirlVentures combines outdoor adventure with social emotional learning for adolescent youth at a critical time in their lives.

Our applications for Summer Courses are now open! We have courses that are 5 days to 2 week long adventures. 

All courses are offered on a sliding scale for payment.

All necessary gear and equipment, meals, and transportation from the GirlVentures office is provided.

Redwood Adventure: For youth entering 6th or 7th grade. June 16 - June 22, 2025

Project Courage: A kayak and backpacking expedition for youth entering 7th or 8th grade. July 10-19, 2025

Transitions: A backpacking and climbing expedition for entering 9th grade. July 27 - Aug 9, 2025

Fierce & Fabulous: Affinity Course designed specifically for Female, Transgender and Gender Nonconforming youth who are Queer identified and their allies entering 10th-12th grade. June 18-24, 2025

Rising Together: Affinity Course designed specifically for youth of color entering 10th-12th grade. July 5-11, 2025
