Mark your calendars for an enchanting experience at BUSD’s upcoming Preschool Open House on March 22 from 10:00 am to noon. This event is perfect for families with children approaching the enrollment age of 2.9 to 5 years old offering a unique glimpse into our vibrant learning environment. Students will need to be 3 by Dec 1st of the current school year to enroll. This preschool is open to students from surrounding cities as well.
Meet our Incredible Staff: Our Costumed Storyteller & Gracious Gardener
The highlight of the Open House will be our enthusiastic staff such as Ping Fahn, the librarian who has been captivating young minds. Ping's innovative approach to storytelling has transformed weekly library visits into magical adventures that children eagerly anticipate. Ping dons full animal onesies, complete with furry ears and painted masks, bringing stories to life in a way that engages children. Each storytime includes a carefully chosen book, lively discussions, and fun dances that get everyone moving. Chris Nakao, our gracious gardener, will also lead a gardening activity, and Health Me, our Music and Movement enrichment program.
