Firelight Education: Academic and EF support with compassion - I can help!

Hi! I'm Laura, an experienced and compassionate former teacher and school administrator who has spent the bulk of my career working with neurodiverse middle school, high school, and college students. I now work with students 1:1 - I can help your student create a plan for working through assignments and build skills for self-advocacy and resilience with school work. I can also help take the parent/child conflict out of homework and studying, and I'm skilled and eager to work with students of all learning profiles and abilities. I can support students with application essays too (private high school and college applications). I have a few spots open starting the week of October 7 and can work in person in the East Bay (your home), or online anywhere in the country. Homeschoolers, I'm here for you, too! I can work with pods or single students and have even more availability during daytime/school hours.
