Embodied Guitarist Studio: 50% off Guitar Lessons in January!
Hey there! I'm a private guitar teacher based in SF, CA, and a proud graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where I studied with some of the best guitarists in the world. My teaching style blends somatic practices like Body Mapping and The Timani Method—fancy ways of saying I focus on the physiological side of playing the guitar, helping you understand how your body works to make music.
I also create custom practice routines based on the latest neuroscience for musicians so that you can make the most of your practice time and avoid burnout. Plus, I provide follow-up videos and extra guidance on everything we cover. With this approach, you’ll build a strong foundation, avoid bad habits, and play with ease—no tension, no stress! My style of teaching is for students of all ages and all skill levels.
Right now I'm offering 50% off for the month of January to all new students. This comes with an initial 30 minute free first lesson as well!
I really enjoy working with teenagers because it’s the age when I first got started, so I can relate to how intense and confusing that time can be. I’ve had the chance to help students find new hobbies and even get accepted into some amazing programs like Lick-Wilmerding, Ruth Asawa SOTA, Bay School, and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
When I work with adults, I focus on creating a teaching environment that’s kind, patient, and respectful. Maybe you’ve been wanting to start lessons for a while, or perhaps you’ve been playing for some time but are struggling with tricky techniques or feel like you’ve hit a plateau. This can feel like a big leap to try to include in your schedule! Whatever your situation, I tailor our lessons to fit your needs and goals.
When guitar lessons are built around proper physiology and practice habits are backed by neurological science, there’s nothing you can’t achieve! There is no "that's just the way I play" when it comes to my instruction. There’s an explanation for everything! And when you learn this way, it brings complete clarity to your growth as a guitarist.
