City of El Cerrito Youth Programs: Fun Summer Jobs in El Cerrito

Work as a camp counselor this summer and make an impact on the children in your community.  This is a great job for people who like to play!  The City of El Cerrito Recreation Department will be running camps from June 16 - August 15.  Training is expected to take place the weekend of June 7/8.  Who we are looking for: energetic, conscientious, reliable, playful, friendly and warm people who see joy in working outdoors, on field trips, and even at the pool.  On top of this, our ideal candidates understand the importance of safety and supervision when caring for campers ages 5-14.  Requirements: Available for at least 8 of the 10 weeks of summer camp, at least 15 years of age and able to get a work permit if in high school.  All applicants over 18 years will be fingerprinted.  Training will include CPR/First Aid, Mandated Reporting, and so much more.  To apply: https://www.governmentjobs.com/careers/elcerrito
