Learn how to save a life in this lively 2.5 hour Baby/Child CPR class.

Perfect for parents, grandparents and babysitters, this online training will prepare you to react quickly and competently in an emergency. Learn prevention and rescue techniques for choking, drowning, poisoning, suffocation and electric shock in babies and children up to age twelve. Develop your skills and confidence as a rescuer with lots of hands-on practice. No previous experience needed.

This is a zoom based, bring-your-own-doll training. You will need access (creativity encouraged!) to a teddy bear, stuffed animal, or any other baby-sized critter that can be compressed. Handouts and individual feedback provided.

Cost is $40.00 a person. Discount for MediCal and Alameda Alliance members.

An EMT for 20 years, Anna Griffin is instructor certified by the American Red Cross and HSI/Medic First Aid. She has taught both medical professionals (at Washington Hospital in Fremont) and parent groups, including eight years teaching Infant CPR classes at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center.
