Announcements & Events: How Often Can I Post?

Events

You can have up to 3 future events published at a time.  Events remain published on the website until the event's date has passed.  If there are more than 3 events that you want to post about, such as tours during Admissions season that repeat weekly, please post three events and hold future events until a previous one has expired. Your approved events are posted immediately in BPN's event calendar and also on your profile page, so post as far in advance as you like.  The weekly Announcements newsletter includes events coming up in the next 7-10 days. 

Announcements

You can have one published announcement at a time. Once approved, announcements are published on the website for 30 days in the listing that you picked, such as 'Preschools with Openings', as well as on your profile page.  After 30 days, your post expires and you can post again.  The weekly Announcements newsletter includes only new announcements received during the previous week.

If you offer activities in more than one category (Announcement Type), then you can have two active posts in the same 30-day period. For example, a tutor center that offers individual tutoring as well as a summer camp can have two active posts: one in the listing 'Kids' Classes, Groups, Teams & Tutors' and one in the listing for 'Summer & Holiday Camps Now Enrolling'. We recommend not posting them both in the same week.

Tip: How to tell whether your post is published: Check your profile page. It displays all your announcements and events that are currently published.
