Sharing a software engineering job
May 2002
I'm currently working as a software Engineer 3 days a week, and spends the other 4 days with my 22 months old daughter (and my spouse too of course). I'm looking around for more work after my contract ends in couple months, I haven't seen anything part time. I don't really want to go back full time. I was thinking it would be nice for moms to be able to share a full time job. Seems such a good idea. Does anyone has experience looking for a person to share a job with? Where to look etc? Or experience with sharing a job and how to balance the work load etc? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks! Purna
