I would like to recommend a local stylist named Susan Bailey. She has done my hair for most of my life, and I have done everything from perm, to butch cut, to color, to highlight to bleach my hair! She is fairly priced, and has a satisfaction-guaranteed attitude! (She will readjust if needed.) I am sure you would find her 30+ years of experience helpful. I highly recommend Susan Bailey. She has done my hair since age 13, and I am now (ahem) 35...and has helped me to do everything from cuts, highlights, full-dying, bleaching, drastic boy cuts :), and perms. She is reasonably priced and also has other esthtician-type skills. Make sure you ask for a neck massage with your shampoo- she's talented!!! I can highly recommend Susan Bailey, at the Chic Salon on Shattuck Ave near Cedar, as one who not only provides a great hair cut, especially for curly hair, but a person who does a great job with natural looking hair color. Those of us at a certain age who want to continue looking our best, without seeming ''over done'', find her approach to color very satisfying. In addition, Susan does consultations and color corrections. Susan has the knack of finding safe (no parabens) hair care products that also perform well. She has been cutting and coloring my hair since the 1990s and keeps up with the latest trends in cuts and technique. bobbye
